Created in 1895 the Golf of Valescure, surrounded by umbrella pines, is the oldest course of the Var and the 5th of all the hexagon. It owes its design to the famous British architect Harry Colt, it is a par 68 of 5019 m. An easy-going course apparently, but be careful … the impression is misleading. The narrow fairways, the difficult roughs, the numerous water holes and the rather small greens are all the elements that impose a certain wisdom in the choice of the clubs. Long hitters beware !
